Yesterday was such a motivating day for BRIGHTaddvalue since we attended Europe-Africa Tourism Investment Summit at the breathtaking Grand Resort Lagonissi.

Organized by ITIC, this landmark event brought together visionary leaders, with video remarks from Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and speeches by Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni, former minister and UN Tourism candidate Harry Theoharis, and EU Commissioner Apostolos Tzitzikostas.

The agenda focused on investment opportunities within Africa’s tourism sector—exploring infrastructure, air connectivity, digital innovation, gender equity, and inclusive growth. We were particularly motivated by sessions on smart and sustainable business models, women’s issues in tourism entrepreneurship, and the role of strategic partnerships under Agenda 2063 and the EU’s Global Gateway.
